Matty is a London-based Design Lead/Director and Illustrator with a love of craft beer and comics. Hailing from Sydney, Australia, he graduated in 2007 with a dream of living and working overseas.

6 years later, Matty moved to London, and 2 years after that, Matty co-founded 'Thunderclap' in Hackney - a branding firm with a penchant for extravagant image-making and creative strategy, offering clients end-to-end services from project inception to full-scale execution.

Running Thunderclap for 5 years came with many roles: Creative Director, New Business Dev, Brand Director, Web Design Lead, Art Director, Illustrator, and Brand Strategist.

Today, an independent and award-winning Design Lead/Director and Illustrator, Matty’s diversity in the disciplines of image-making and brand creation has made him a go-to creative injection for brands and agencies worldwide.
